Obituary

Lillie Bell Brown Muff, daughter of the late Edmond and Emma Brown, was born in Phoenix City, Alabama on December 20, 1931.

She received her formal education in the public schools of Russell County where she was active in numerous school functions and activities.

On October 11, 1947, she was united in marriage to Bobby Lee Muff, Sr. This union was blessed with a loving family with whom they shared many happy and precious moments together.

Lillie was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 4, 2000. She was a faithful and devoted servant who served as a writer and publisher for several years. Her favorite scriptures were Isaiah 33:24 and revelation 21:3-4.

Devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, unfailing sister, caring aunt and cousin, and loyal friend, Lillie had a big heart and a kind and generous spirit. Her warm smile, words of encouragement, and lofty deeds enriched the lives of many people and will never be forgotten.

Lillie departed this earthly life on Thursday, September 14, 2017. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Lee Muff, Sr.; four children, Mary Lean Owens, Eddie James Muff, Vannie Muff, and Willie D. Muff; two grandchildren, Eddie James Muff, Jr., and Emma Mae Muff; and six siblings, James Brown, George Brown, Edmond Brown, Johnny Mack Brown, Rena Mae Brown, and Eddie Lou Brown.

She leaves precious memories to be cherished by her children, Bobby Lee (Dorothy) Muff, Jr., Charlie D. (Angela) Muff, Jacob (Dora) Muff, Johnnie Mae More, and Doris (Willie) Harrison all of Albany, GA, Jerry (Gloria) Muff of Baconton, GA, Lillie (Stanley) Pearce of Richland, GA, and Jeanett Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; three siblings, Lewis Brown of Albany, GA, and Margie Brown and Nancy Brown of Dawson, GA; two sisters-in-law; numerous grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
