Obituary

Linda Jean Keith was born in Albany, Georgia on August 12, 1957.  She was the daughter of the late Alice Mae Thompson Burns and Johnny L. K. Gardner.  She was educated in the public schools of Dougherty County.

Loving mother, dedicated sister, nurturing aunt, caring cousin, and loyal friend, Linda was a selfless person who  was devoted to her family and friends, willingly helped others, and touched the lives of people around her in a very special way.  She was easy to talk to and able to find the humor in most situations.  Her doors were always open to friends, family, and anyone in need.

On Monday, December 4, 2017, she answered her final call and transitioned to eternal rest.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricardo A. Keith; and three brothers, Charles E. Burns, Edward Thompson, and Wilbur Burns.

She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish fond memories two sons, Henry L. Keith (Perneshia) and Dewayne (Tacoma) Keith of Albany, GA; eight siblings, Alice K. Burns, Sandra L. Gardner, Robert L. Burns, Jerome Burns, Ronnie L. Gardner, Pastor Leon Gardner, Apostle Jimmy Gardner, and Bishop Johnny L. Gardner all of Albany, GA; godchildren, Christopher Boone, Tania Evans, and Jackie Price of Albany, GA; a special niece, Shannon Burns Curry and her daughter, Kenisha Curry; a special nephew, Terell (Trisha) Burns of Albany, GA; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
