Lucille Hines the beloved daughter of the late Cathy Hope Hines and the late Willie Hines was born in Albany, Georgia on March 10, 1976.

Throughout the early years life of her life, she was nurtured and cared for by her mother and father. She received her formal education in the Dougherty County Public School System. Throughout school, Lucille was an energetic, strong -willed young lady who was always ready for adventure. Having developed a strong passion for the elderly in her life, she continued her education receiving her PCA license in  the healthcare field.

At a very early age, Lucille accepted Christ as her Savior and united with Christian Life Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Raymond Polite.

She dearly loved the Lord and remained consistent throughout her life.

Fondly known as Doris by family and friends, she embraced life with open arms. She enjoyed spending time with family and nurtured relationships with people who became life -long friends. Doris loved a challenge and on any given day, could be found in the kitchen listening to her music or on the grill getting ready for a cookout with her family and friends. Doris loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was a loving mother, sister, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed.

On Friday August 8, 2025 Lucille departed this earthly life at home. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her son, Kartavious Jones.

Precious memories will forever remain with her devoted daughter, Erica Chappel; devoted son, Tomas Clark; devoted sister, Dorothy Williams (Jason); her devoted brothers, Jimmy Hines (Lashana), David Hines (Yolanda Jackson), and Michael Hines (Natasha); her husband, Chando Carter; a special devoted friend, Robert Tolver; several grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives
and friends.
