Obituary

Lucius Bell was born June 7, 1951, to the late Willie and Pearlean Bell.

Lucius, Luc, Unc, Daddy, Cuzzin, Granddaddy, Friend are some of the names he was called. His demise came suddenly on Saturday, May 7,
2022, when he answered to his final call.

He attended the local schools of Dougherty County, graduating from Monroe High School class of 1970. He participated in many of the school activities, including playing football and running track.

He was "everybody's" handyman. He was a "jack of all trades." Lucius could do some of everything, including painting, building things up,
tearing things down, and just fixing stuff!

Lucius became a born again baptized believer of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church at a very early age. He loved singing and that where he served...singing with the Senior Choir and mostly with the "Holloway Specials".

Lucius was married to Patricia Bell and to this union three sons were born...Octavius, Cedric, and Pernell.

He was raised in a loving family of five brothers and five sisters. Other than the passing of his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister,
Samantha, grandson, Mookie and a granddaughter Jasmine.

He was always called the favorite one in the family. He got away with lots of miscellaneous behaviors! But we loved him in spite of it all.

Memories, memories, oh those precious memories will linger on in the hearts of all of his loving family members, caring friends, church family,
and all who knew him.

He is survived by sisters...Evelyn (Elbert) Johnson, Willie Pearl Bryant, Ethel Bell, Carolyn Davis, Valerie Pickett, Fannie Gladden, Corine Walton, and Deborah Brown. Brothers...Henry Jones, Albert Bell, Herschel Bell, Reginald (Pam) Bell, William (Lana) Bell, and Robbie (Flossie) Bell. Children...Octavius, Cedric, Pernell, Pamela, and Dominique (Donnie); 19 grands and 4 great grands; very special friend, Minnie Mills and his aces "Boo" and "Bonner"; lots and lots of other loving family members and caring friends. Lucius was an awesome father, brother, uncle, granddaddy, and friend. He will be TRULY missed. Thanks to you all for being part of our loved one's life.
