A precious one from us is gone, a voice we love is still; a place is vacant in our hearts, which will never be filled. Mr. Mack Williams, Jr. was born in Baconton, Geogia on March 15, 1937, to the late Mack Williams, Sr. and Fannie Lou Caldwell Williams. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the St. James Missionary Baptist Church. He attended school in Baconton and joined the military upon adulthood. After completing military service, he was employed at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, where he retired after 32 years of service.
Mack Jr. was united in holy matrimony for 57 years to Mrs. Betty Williams. To this union, three children were born; one preceded him in death, Mack Williams, III.
On Monday, March 2, 2020 after 82 years of dedicated service and blessed living, he quietly departed this life at the Willson Hospice Center.
