Mark Wade Johnson, beloved son of the late Beatrice Frazier, was born in Bronx, New York on September 12, 1964.
During the early years of his life, he attended the school in New York and participated in numerous school activities and functions.
In later years, he relocated to Albany, Georgia where he met and married the love of his life, Delores Johnson. They were blessed with loving and caring children whom they took great pride and joy in raising. As a husband and father, Mark was diligent in caring for the needs of his family. For numerous years, he was employed with various local janitorial services, including Jackson Janitorial Service of Albany. No matter what the task, he took great pride in his work and ensured that no task was left undone.
Mark had a genuine love of life, a servant's heart, and could see the beauty in all things around him. Anyone who knew him also knew that he treasured spending time with his family and friends. His all-time favorite role was that of "grandpa" to his grandchildren with whom he cultivated a very special bond an showered them with love and attention. Mark was a selfless person who delighted in helping others without asking anything in return. He accepted everyone for who they were and openly welcomed them into his heart and home. When in the company of family and friends, he was always the "life of the crowd" and his sense of humor and laughter captured the attention of everyone around him. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him and calling him friend.
On Saturday, March 10, 2018, Mark's earthly journey ended as he entered into eternal rest. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Frazier; and a nephew, Martavion Frazier.
