IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Eunice
Banks
January 6, 1944 – April 20, 2021
Mary Eunice Banks was born January 6, 1944, to the late Olin Banks, Sr. and Bertha Gray Banks.
During the early years of her life, she attended the public schools of Worth and Dougherty Counties.
At a young age, Mary Eunice accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was a dedicated member of Beulah Baptist Church and willingly served wherever needed until her health declined. Through the years, she remained steadfast and prayerful in her daily walk—always giving God the glory and praise.
Mary Eunice lived a life of kindness and compassion tempered with a loving spirit. She was a meticulous homemaker who ate not the bread of idleness; but took great care in meeting the needs of her family. Mary had a servant's heart and felt most comfortable when helping others; no one was ever looked upon as a stranger. Family and friends were among her greatest cherished gifts and she delighted in spending time with them. Blessed with exceptional cooking skills, Mary's table was always spread with soulful feasts for family and friends to enjoy. She was love in action and a fierce proponent for truth, honestly, and doing this right and in order.
On April 20 , 2021 Mary Eunice transitioned from this earthly life to be with the Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant daughters, Vonice and Baby Banks.
Loving memories will be forever cherished by her children, Hosey (Shirley) Banks and Carolyn Williams; two siblings, Olin (Ossie) Banks, Jr. and Elizabeth Smith; grandchildren, Lakeisha (Tony) Williams, Steven Christopher Williams, Chelsea Williams, Lashondra Banks, Nashad Harmon, and Kimberly Warren; great grandchildren, Jorden McCray, Jayda Quimbley, Nylah Harmon, Naryhah Harmon, Tony Ingram, Jr., Tahj Ingram, Tylar Warren, and Cynthia Dixon; nieces and nephews, Kim (Dexter) Mason, Tameka (Cartier) Clyde, Lasonda Kotrece Carter, Asia Cook, Tasia McCarthens, Olin Banks III, and Mikel Carter; special cousins, Earline Anderson and Aldean Banks; two very special friends, Teresa Stanley and Camille Stanley; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
