Melvin Singgate Walls, Sr began his earthly journey on June 10, 1959 to the late Clyde Mack Walls and Rubey Hazel Walls. His childhood education matriculation would lead him through the corridors of Doughtery Middle & High School where he would successfully graduate.

Vidal Sasson said, "The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary." Mr. Walls was no stranger to hard work. Melvin Walls was gainfully employed by well-known companies like Fussel Eggs, Lance Potato Chips and Flower Baking Company (SunBeans).

Walls was not only a provider but a parent.  Marital bliss would gift him four children: Melvin Walls, Jr., Scottie Walls (Deceased), Michael Walls (Roshel), and Marsha Walls Randle (Dante). His legacy continues in his eight grandchildren; Tariq Walls, Tiana Walls, Trinity Walls, Michael Walls Jr., Treverial Manigault, Sa'Riyah Randle, Zerek Randle, and Zhanyi Randle.

Family and friends were Melvin's love language. Though a quiet and reserved man, he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and being around family. He was affectionately known as "Eggman."

Melvin Walls transitioned from this life into eternal rest on July 4, 2024. He was proceeded in death by his parents and siblings: Clyde M Walls, Jr., Felton Walls, Sr., Prescilla Walls, and Raymon Walls.

Melvin's wonderful memories will forever be cherished by his sisters and brothers: Patricia Daniel (Eddie), Janice Jhonson (Simon), Jeannette Walls, Charles Walls, Ruby Trawick (George), and Dale Walls (King) and a host of relatives and friends.

We will forever be grateful that God gave us time. Until we meet again, it is well.
