Obituary

Nicola Lachander Robinson-Brown, daughter of Valeria Robinson and the late Eddie Campbell, was born in Cuthbert Georgia on December 23, 1979. She attended the public schools of Dougherty County and actively participated in various student activities and events.

At an early age, Nicola accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was a dedicated member of Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church where she availed herself in service as a Sunday School teacher. Her love for Christ and her church family was manifested in her daily walk, deeds, and actions.

Nicola was united in marriage to the love of her life, Elijah Brown. Together, they created a home filled with love, understanding, kindness, and devotion. She was a meticulous homemaker who was full of energy and extremely organized—everything had its place! As a wife and mother, Nicola was diligent in caring for the needs of her family. She had a wonderful way of connecting with her children and stepchildren,
always encouraging their hearts.

Fondly known as "Kelly" by family and friends, Nicola was good natured, generous, and a sheer pleasure to be around. She believed deeply in unconditional love, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, saw the highest potential in everyone, and delighted in helping others. Like a bright star, she had a gigantic smile that could light up a room and bring joy to everyone around her. The strong bonds of friendship that she developed throughout her life will continue in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.

On September 23, 2021, Nicola closed her loving eyes knowing that once she was absent from her body, she would be present with the
Lord.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by her husband, Elijah Brown; children, Quankerious and Ni'Lijah Brown; stepchildren, Elisha Whitus, Jes'us Daniels, and Josiah Daniels; her mother, Valeria Robinson; siblings, Happiness (Willie) Jones, Cheryl (Reginald) Pope, Shante Campbell, Kareem Campbell, and Aresino Robinson; grandfathers, Tommie Sheppard and Alphonso Harvey; aunts and uncles, Javona Robinson, Aleathia Moore-Mitchell, Adrian (Ervin) Holiday, Vincent Moore, Geoffrey (Shannon) Moore, Anthony (Clarrissa) Thomas, and Aaron Harvey; sisters-in-law, Stacy Brown, Kimberly Brown, and Shavon (Cortez) Johnson; brothers-in-law, Tracy Brown, Christopher Brown, and Johnny Brown; best friends, Latosha Griffin and Jameelah Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
