Ola M. Oliver was born on January 10, 1939, Ola was the daughter of the late Doretha Quarterman Nash and the late Freddie Nash.
At an early age Ola was baptized and confessed to Christ. Ola joined Shiloh Baptist Church, Pecan City, Ga. After serving her time at Shiloh Ola joined Antioch Baptist Church, Albany, Ga. where she served as an Usher for several years. Ola also served under the Order of the Eastern Star. Ola was employed in the 70's by Bob's Candies, Inc. She worked several years as a Candy Striper and was later promoted to Supply Store Manager. She retired from Bob's after 32 years.
Ola was also a dedicated mother, wife, and friend. Ola was a kind loving person and would you cook for you, feed you, and have good advice for you.
Ola was preceded in death by her son Calvin Grant.
Ola leaves memories that will forever be cherished by her children: Willie James Grant, Verginia Jackson Teemer (Earlie), Jessie Grant, Barber Tuck (Steven), Willie Gammage (Surbrenia) Cedric Grant, and Valorie Oliver. Sisters Lizzie Mae Summerlin, Sumner, Ga, Rosa Mae Field, St. Petersburg Fla., Willie Mae Stokes, St. Petersburg Fla., Annie Mae Edwards (Willie C.), Albany, Ga. Della Mae Kimble, Brother Johnny Howard (Jacquelyn). Twenty-three Grandchildren, Thirty great-grands, and three Great-great grands.
