Patricia Jackson was born September 25, 1959, in Terrell County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the Geneva Jackson Bell and the late Lonnie C. Bell.

She attended the public school of Dougherty County, including Monroe Comprehensive High School where she graduated in the class of 1977. While at Monroe, she was active in numerous organizations and events. Her love for children inspired her to further her education at Albany Technical College, majoring in Early Childhood Education.

Oftentimes, Patricia was described as a persistent, hardworking mother who would go the extra mile and beyond to provide for her family. She was employed at Flint River Textiles for several years before transitioning to a career in education. She devoted innumerable years to educating and nurturing young children at Albany State University's Early Learning Center and was named "Employee of the Year" in 2007.

Patricia lived a life of kindness and compassion tempered with a vibrant , exuberant spirit. She enjoyed an array of activities, including spending time with family and friends. She was ambitious in all that she did and she was a friend you could always depend on. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

On July 11, 2018, Patricia departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest. Although our hearts ache with sorrow, we were so blessed to have shared her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie C. Bell.

She leaves fond memories to be cherished by her loving mother, Geneva Jackson Bell of Albany, GA; two devoted daughters, Shabricca Jackson and Quanisha Jackson of Albany, GA; a grandson, Ahmad Jones; three siblings, Leonard (Pam) Bell and Gwendolyn Bell of Albany, GA, and Milton (Lorraine) Bell of Warner Robins, GA; two dedicated nieces, Latrisa Christian and Erikka Jackson of Albany, GA; long-time friends and caregivers, Christine Brooks and Willie Mae Strawder of Albany, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews , aunts, uncles, cousins, and f
