Patricia Ann Levins was born in Albany, Georgia on February 6, 1951. She was the beloved daughter of the late Clarence and Doretha Levins.
During the early years of her life, she attended the public schools of Dougherty County. She continued her education at Albany Technical College and completed the requirements for certification in Cosmetology. She later attended Albany State College where she majored in Nursing.
At a very early age, Patricia accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with the Shiloh Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend H. C. Boyd. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and willingly served wherever needed in the church.
Patricia was a loving and devoted mother who was diligent in caring for the needs of her family. For many years, she skillfully balanced her responsibilities as a homemaker with her nursing duties at Palmyra Hospital. She was a dedicated employee, gave her best at all times, and retired after rendering numerous years of loyal and committed service.
Family an friends meant the world to Patricia and she was a source of encouragement and joy to everyone she met. She believed deeply in unconditional love, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and delighted in helping others—never asking anything in return. The strong bonds of friendship that she developed through the years will forever be cherished and remembered.
On January 27, 2020, Patricia departed this earthly life at the Lee County Health and Rehabilitation Facility. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Howard Levins; and her grandson, Hakin Lewis.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by her devoted son, Fred B. Levins; siblings, Ossie Jackson of Jacksonville, FL, Dora (Pop) Reese of Philadelphia, PA, Mack Levins of St. Augustine, FL, and Peter Levins of Tampa, FL; grandchild, Kenija Haliburton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
