Mrs. Pearline Moses was born on January 3, 1953, in Leesburg, Georgia, to the late JW Brookins Sr. and Willie Pearl Brookins. She was educated in the Dougherty County School System, where she built the foundation for a life rooted in faith, hard work, and love for others.

At an early age, Pearline accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and later became a faithful member of the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. Her devotion to God shone brightly through her service and the way she lived her life. Pearline worked for many years as a custodian at Sherwood Church, performing her duties with pride and excellence until her health no longer allowed. Her work was more than a job—it was an expression of her faith and dedication.

Pearline was strong in her faith, rich in compassion, and deeply committed to her family and friends. She had a heart that welcomed all, a smile that warmed any room, and a spirit that inspired those around her.

On August 13, 2025, her earthly season ended, and she was called home to be with our Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jessie Moses; son, Alexander Brookins; and four siblings, JW Brookins Jr., Sammie Brookins, Beatrice Hawkins, and Marie Holloman.

Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memory are her two sons, Robert Walker and Kortney Walker; one daughter, Sebrina Walker, all of Atlanta, Georgia; one grandson; eight granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Aaron Brookins and Pastor Charles (Pastor Gwendolyn) Brookins; four sisters, Emma McDowell, Elizabeth Jefferson, Apostle Polly Fleming, and Teresa Taylor, all of Albany, Georgia; best friend Patricia Hudson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
