IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pedro Jasper
Tift
December 23, 1973 – July 6, 2023
Pedro Jasper Tift blessed the world born to Janice Tift and the late Willie Roy Gilbert. Jasper was welcomed to this world on December 23, 1973, in Blakeley, Georgia. For 49 years, he enjoyed life and spending time with his family and friends. He was called to his heavenly home Thursday, July 6, 2023.
Jasper was educated in the public-school system of Georgia. He was multiskilled and held a variety of jobs throughout his earthly life.
Jasper was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He had several nicknames, and was known as "Jasper, Jap and JT". He was affectionately known for his love of cars and animals, especially dogs. He loved entertaining people; however, he had no problems having a "one- man" party at home, singing and dancing.
To cherish his loving memories, Jasper leaves fifteen children: Marlo Braxton, Jadarius Outlaw, Amaria Henderson, Janaii Tift, Ja'Marcus Tift, Jamya Tift, Jasmine Tift, Jai'Ayshia Denean Tift, Londyn Adiyah Tift, Jacob Perry, Demarcus Tift and Justoria Tift (all of Georgia); his mother: Janice Tift; his father: Willie Roy Gilbert (proceeded in death); two sisters: Frances Tift (of Albany, Georgia), Sequia Burch (White Plains, Maryland); four brothers: Jamieson Tift, Rodney Johnson (of Orlando, Florida), Marco Ofton (of Blakley, Georgia), and Tim Tolbert (Atlanta, Georgia); one sister-in-love: Tasha Bush-Johnson; one brother-in-love: Troy Burch; seven aunts: Nannie Bankston, Jackie Bankston, Jaronica Jackson, Hope Jackson, Rudy, Sandra Cawthon and Lora Cawthon (of Blakley, Georgia); four uncles: Jarvis Tift, Jerome Bankston, Johnny Bankston and Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends whom all loved Jasper dearly.
