IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Porchea Brechelle
Jackson
September 3, 1987 – August 15, 2019
Porchea Brechelle Jackson, daughter of Paul Jackson and Patricia Sessions Smith, was born in Albany, Georgia on September 3, 1987.
She attended the public schools of Dougherty County, including Monroe Comprehensive High School. While at Monroe, she was active in numerous school organizations and activities. She was a proud "Golden Tornado."
At a very early age having professed her faith and belief in Christ, she was added to the body of Christ at the River Road Church of Christ.
Porchea was a very independent person who had an everlasting love for her children. Those who encountered her often described her as a caring, hardworking mother who provided unconditionally for her children; who ensured that they were well-kept and presentable at all times; and who valued time spent with her daughters and son. Porchea was gracious, kind, and full of integrity in her job as a sales clerk at Belk's in the Albany Mall. She took great pride in her work; ensured that customers were completely satisfied; and stayed the course until all tasks were completed.
A beautiful free-spirited individual, Porchea was a devoted daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and loyal friend. She had the unique ability to turn an ordinary day into an adventure, a chore into an activity, and a boring evening into a memory. She noticed the beauty in everything and the good in everyone. Like a bright shining star, she had a glowing personality that would light up a room; lift your spirits; and brighten your day. She was a loving and compassionate person who stood ready to help anyone in need.
On August 15, 2019, Porchea was unexpectedly called home to eternal rest at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by her parents, Paul Jackson and Patricia Sessions Smith; three beautiful children, Mariah Jones, Dallas Jackson, and Sage Jackson; siblings, Shakeita Jackson—Snell (Tyrone) and Latricia Jackson-Williams (Damian), Darius Jackson, and Cameron Jackson; devoted grandfathers, Jessie Rollins and Anthony Sessions; and a host of aunts, uncles, great aunts, cousins, and friends.
