Quavante' Marquez Ross, Sr., son of Sandra Denise Ross, was born in Albany, Georgia on January 12, 1995. He was the youngest of five siblings.
He attended the public schools of Dougherty County and actively participated in numerous school functions. Throughout his youth, Quavante' was very a persistent, determined young man who lived life to the fullest and never shied away from a challenge.
Believing strongly in loyalty and commitment to his country, Quavante' enlisted in the United States Army where he was stationed throughout the United States and abroad, including South Korea.
Quavante' was an incredible son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin, friend, and most importantly—father. He was profoundly devoted to his family and friends and would do anything in his power to help them. He loved deeply, laughed often, and lived his life with intense energy. He truly cherished every moment spent with family and friends and will forever be remembered.
On Saturday, May 12, 2018, his 23-year circle of life was completed as he peacefully transitioned to eternal rest.
Fond memories will forever be cherished by his mother, Sandra Ross; his children, Quavante' Marquez Ross, Jr. and Indica Amari Michelle Ross; a very special and devoted friend, Camile Taylor; four siblings, Yusef Ross, Katavia L. Ross, Kendra L. Russ, and Tequilla Ross; grandmother, Gloria Ross; uncles and aunts, Tommy Ross, Jeff Ross, Anita S. Ross, an Kamilah N. Ross; first cousins, Shenequia Hale, Keyshunisha Hunter, Zariquavious Hunter, and Zementreyl Gibson; nieces and nephews, Aniya Red, A'Harmony Reid, Dontieris Knight, and Danardrick Knight; great-cousins, Tristan Hale and T. J. Hale; and a host of extended family and friends.
