IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Queen
Baisden
February 9, 1949 – February 7, 2024
Queen Easter Baisden was born in Leesburg, Georgia on February 9, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Eddie Lee Baisden and Daisy Lee Baisden.
Very early in life, Queen accepted Christ as her personal Savior and united with the House of God Saints in Christ of Leesburg, Georgia. She dearly loved the Lord and remained humble throughout life's journey.
Queen was a very good-hearted individual with an endless reservoir of love for family and friends. She taught us to love greater, to be kind and considerate to everyone, and to look at this world with wide eyes full of wonder and excitement. Even in the midst of challenges, she was always grateful for every good thing that came her way. Queen was the kind of person anyone would be proud to call mother, sister, aunt, cousin, or friend. Reading her bible, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family were integral parts of her life. Truly, she was an angel on earth who left an indelible impression on all of our lives.
On Wednesday, February 27, 2024, Queen transitioned from this earthly life at Phoebe Worth Emergency Center in Sylvester, Georgia. Although her earthly departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, her caring spirit will always be remembered. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Eula Baisden Kennedy and Maggie Ruth Baisden Lamar.
Loving memories will forever remain with her son, Tommy Lee (Sandra) Baisden of Leesburg, GA; her siblings, Mary Baisden and Edmond (Yorel) Baisden of Albany, GA; eleven nieces and nephews; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
