IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Quiency
Mallory
December 13, 1960 – October 30, 2022
Quiency Edward Mallory was a very loving, kind, and hardworking soldier who loved people. He was born in Albany, Georgia on December 13, 1960, to the late Ella Mae and Henry Mallory. As an adolescent after the death of his mother, Quiency was nurtured and cared for under the guiding hands of his beloved sister, Mae Ouida Cicero.
He was educated in the Dougherty County School System and graduated from Monroe High School in 1978. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served valiantly until January 18, 1985. During his enlistment, he received the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and the Rifle M-16 Marksman and Hand Grenade Expert awards. He was a soldier to the core and the discipline and patriotism he learned in the Army never left him.
At a very young age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. In adulthood, he worked faithfully alongside his wife, Evangelist Marcia Harps Mallory, with Rock of Ages Broadcast Ministries, Inc.
Quiency was a very conscientious individual who was no stranger to hard work. He was employed with Exel DHL in Lithia Springs, Georgia as a material handler and worked untiringly until his demise.
No matter what the task, he always stayed the course to ensure that nothing was ever left undone.
On October 30, 2022, Quiency departed this life quickly and peacefully. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven siblings, Eguther Mallory, Mae Ouida Cicero, Velma Terrell, Tommy Mallory, Alvin Mallory, Walter Mallory, and Ricky Taylor; and his stepson, Jonathan McGhee.
He leaves loving memories that will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 19 years, Marcia Harps Mallory; his daughter, Asia Mallory of Arizona; stepchildren, Tamala Harps, Kristy Girardean, and Cedric McGhee of Atlanta, GA; sister, Willie Mae Nix; brother-in-law, Apostle Gregory (Veronica) Harps; sister-in-law, Dr. LaWanda Folami; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
