IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Quintis Lamar
Barnes
August 31, 1992 – September 2, 2020
Quintis Lamar Barnes, son of April Green and Don Terry Barnes, was born in Albany, Georgia on August 31, 1992.
He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System, including Dougherty Comprehensive High School.
Quintis was a very persistent, skilled, and resourceful, individual who took great pride in his work. For numerous years, he was employed by J. Green Construction and Maintenance where he worked untiringly to ensure that no task was ever left undone.
Although quiet and oftentimes laid-back, Quintis embraced life's experiences with open arms. He had a mind that never ceased questioning, a serious twinkle in his eyes, and a heart that opened freely to family and friends. Quintis was a one-of-a-kind son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed. One of his fondest passions was FOOD—he loved eating and never turned down an opportunity to delve into a well prepared dish of any kind. In his leisure, he enjoyed football and spending time with family and friends.
On Wednesday, September 2, 2020, Quintis' life journey ended. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Tommy L. Porter and Robert D. Barnes.
