Ralph Jonson was born in South Florida on March 24, 1955. He was the beloved son of the late Dan Johnson and Rosa Stephens.
He grew up in Pompano Beach, Florida and attended elementary, middle, and high school in the public schools of Broward County. During his school years, he was active in numerous organizations, activities, and sporting events.
Throughout life, Ralph believed in working hard for what you want and always doing the right thing. For more than 20 years, he was employed as a heavy equipment operator with the City of Pompano. He was a very conscientious worker who gave his very best and took great pride in a "job well done.:
Ralph was a good natured man with a big heart and a pleasure to be around. He was a loving father, devoted brother, awesome uncle, caring cousin, and the best friend anyone could ever hope for. His gigantic smile and exuberant personality drew people towards him as he oftentimes shared stories and engaged them in endless hours of conversation. Ralph loved his family and friends unconditionally and delighted in spending time with them. He was a "cowboy" at heart and loved listening to country music. His sense of humor, laughter, love of life, and friendship will always be remembered.
Loving memories will forever remain in the hearts of his daughters, LaMika Johnson Garland, Stacey Jones Nesbit, Marlena Johnson Jackson, and Latasha Wright; siblings, Eddie Johnson, Ernest Johnson, Dennis Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Ruthie Johnson Faulkes, and Michael Johnson; a myriad of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
