Randolph Glasco, Sr. was born in Brevard County, Florida on December 5, 1949. He was the son of the late Grady and Annie Mae Glasco. During his early childhood and young adult years, he resided in Merritt Island and Coco Beach, Florida with his family.
He received his formal education in the public schools of Brevard County and was active in numerous school organizations and activities.
In later years, he relocated to Albany, Georgia where he met the love of his life, Rosa Hill. In 1999, they were joined in holy matrimony and their union was blessed with loving children with whom they enjoyed many happy years together. As a husband and father, Randolph devoted much of his time and energy caring for the needs of his family. For numerous years, he was employed at Byne Memorial Baptist Church. He labored untiringly and was a loyal and dedicated worker.
A man of faith and belief in God, he united with the Zion Pure Life Church where he served faithfully as a Deacon at the side of his brother and sister-in-law, Bishop Dr. Aill Mannie and Dr. Mary Mannie. Deacon Glasco was a man who was strong in faith, in character, and in wisdom. He was a vessel whose faith in God never waivered, who loved his church dearly, and who stayed on the battlefield until his earthly departure.
Devoted husband, loving father, unfailing brother, caring uncle, and loyal friend; Deacon Glasco embraced life with open arms. He had a big heart and a kind and generous spirit. His friendliness and kindness to all people, his commitment to his church, and his devotion and love for his family and friends are lasting tributes to who he was. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
On Sunday, September 23, 2018, Deacon Glasco departed this earthly realm surrounded by family and friends. Although the clock of his life no longer ticks, the legacy of his life will continue on. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Ethelbell Jordan and Chris Glasco.
Precious memories will be forever cherished by his beloved wife, Rosa Hill Glasco; children, Barbara Glasco, Felecia Glasco, Mike Hill, Rachel Ward, Randella Glasco, Shandell Glasco, Mario Glasco, Adrian Glasco, Steve Glasco, and Emmitt Glasco; siblings, Maxine Griffin, Bishop Aill (Mary) Mannie, Clemastine Jiles, Brundell Glasco, Barbara Ann Glasco, and Josephine Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
