The season of life for Rasheed Khalil Canty, affectionately known as Sonni, began on     November 10, 1976, in Albany Georgia. He was born as a twin and is the son of the late Marvin Wallace and Georgia Wallace Johnson and step-father Michael Johnson.

He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System. Throughout his life, Rasheed was a lively, strong-willed   entrepreneur, who was always ready for the next business venture and actively participated in various sports activities and events,   especially basketball.

Affectionate son, super dad, awesome brother, caring uncle, unforgettable cousin, and loyal friend, Rasheed embraced life with open arms. His love and pride for his children was beyond measure. He had an inquisitive mind that never ceased to create opportunities and a heart that opened freely to family and friends.  His love of life and energetic personality attracted many people to him and the bonds of friendship forged throughout his life will long beremembered.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his beloved mother, Georgia Wallace Johnson and step-father Michael Johnson; His children Khalil Canty, Khamil Canty, Kyah (Drek) Canty , Jamison Canty, Jazelle (Ebonie) Canty ; Siblings: Tracey (Truvino)Sims, Stephanie Canty, Marvin Canty, Lakeshia Canty, Rasheeda Canty (twin), Courtney Wallace, Takeshia Wallace, Christy (Kevin) Kinnel, Niki Wallace; aunts and uncles; Janet Canty, Shenita White, Edna Canty, Nettie Hill Wilson, Michelle Tumblin, Vera Terrell, Mitchell (Diedra) Canty, Major Fowler,  and Michael Wallace, Betty Walker, Linda Peterson, Ethel (William) Wright, Patricia Wallace Gaines (Sylvester) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended   family, friends and  His forever friends- Enderica Daniels, Ebonie Dawson, and She'Vokya Candidate.

He is proceeded in death by his father Marvin Wallace, one brother, Michael Williams; his grandparents Jessie Canty and Waymon Fowler, Eddie Mae Baker Wallace, and Butler Wallace, Jr.; aunt Essie Gainer; and uncles Waymon (Spud) Canty, Roosevelt Wallace, Butler Wallace, Marion Wallace, Ronnie Wallace, and Verlin Wallace.
