Robert Edward Hall, Sr., beloved son of the late Joseph Hall and Jessie Collins-Hall, was born in Randolph County, Georgia on October 10, 1942. He was one of thirteen siblings.
He received his formal education in the Calhoun County School System. At a very early age, Robert accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.
On April 27, 1968, he was united in holy matrimony to the queen of his life, Eula Mae Orr. Through this union, they became the proud parents of six children whom they took great pride and joy in nurturing with patience, humility, and loving kindness. They were blessed with many happy years together.
Robert was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend who loved unconditionally and taught his family to persevere and stick together through the trials and triumphs of life. He worked hard to provide for his family and gave his very best at everything he did. He loved farming, gardening, mechanical work, and riding his four wheeler around his property. Robert was one of those rare people with the unique ability to draw people toward him. He always had a positive attitude, was quick to smile and laugh, and was an expert at making people feel good. He will be dearly missed .
The journey of life quietly ended for Robert on February 1, 2018. In addition to his parents, he was reunited with his beloved queen, Ella Mae Hall; and two sons, Marvin and Henry who preceded him in death.
He leaves fond memories to be cherished and celebrated by his children, Robert E. Hall, Jr., Kenneth (Clarissa) Hall, Shonna (Lucious) Sutton, Travis Hall, Ronald (Kuanatika) Hall; a special nephew/son, Eric Orr; five siblings, Mattie Ruth Brown, Christine Wester, Mary Moore, Daniel Hall and James Hall; twenty-two grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
God hath not promised skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through;
God hath not promised sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.
But God hath promised strength for the day,
Rest for the labor, light for the way,
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing sympathy, undying love.
