IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Lee
Rogers
February 27, 1963 – September 17, 2019
Robert Lee Rogers was born on February 23, 1963, in Cordele, Georgia to Fannie Frazier and the late Oscar Davis and his stepfather the late Lewis Frazier.
He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Monroe Comprehensive High School in the class of 1981. While at Monroe he loved the game of football and was a star player on their team.
During the early years of his life, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with Brown Chapel Baptist Church. Later in life he connected with Victorious Life Church of Albany under the leadership of Bishop J. Nathan Paige.
Robert was a very conscientious, hardworking individual who gave his best at whatever he did. For more than 30 years, he labored untiringly as a cook in various restaurants, currently being employed at Red Lobster. Not only did he take pride in his work, but he truly relished the friends that he made during his employment.
Devoted son and father, loving brother, caring uncle, committed cousin, and loyal friend, Robert embraced life with open arms. He had an endless reservoir of love for family and friends and he took advantage of every opportunity to spend time with them. He was such a joy to be around, always keeping a smile on his face and being the life of any party. Robert will be missed by all who dearly loved him.
On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, Robert's earthly journey ended and he entered into eternal rest.
His love and fond memories will continue on in the hearts of his loving and devoted mother, Fannie Frazier; two children, Robert Johnson and Shonte Johnson; three siblings, Ollie Loud, Brenda (Jerome) McRae, and Latonya Frazier; four grandchildren, Re'Nya Johnson, Vontay Mackey, Aniya Mackey, and Jawuan Jinks; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
