IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald Lee
Cox
April 13, 1956 – September 26, 2017
Ronald Lee Cox was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 13, 1956, to the late Lucious and Eva Mae Cox. He was the youngest child and only son born into a family of six siblings.
During the early years of his life, the family relocated to Albany, Georgia where he attended the public schools of Dougherty County.
As a youth, Ronald heeded the call of Christ and began his walk with the Lord at the Arcadia Baptist Church. He dearly loved the Lord and his church family.
Ronald was a very hardworking, conscientious, and skilled construction worker. For numerous years, he was employed by various construction companies in Albany and the surrounding counties, including Giles Building Supply. No matter what the task, he always took great pride in his work.
Loving son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Ronald enjoyed being active and especially loved spending quality time with his family and friends. His love for all mankind, encouraging words and deeds, and his genuine spirit made him a favorite among all who came in contact with him.
On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, Ronald's earthly journey ended and he entered into eternal rest. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Wyleen Wingfield.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories a loving daughter, Sharica Cox of Albany, GA; two grandchildren, Zadarrius Cox and Raven Cox of Albany, GA; four sisters, Wynella Knight of Cleveland, OH, Jerleen Armstrong and Brenda Cox of Albany, GA, and Lora (Donnie) Rich of Lansing, MI; a caring friend, Jeanette Jackson; a supportive cousin who was like a brother, Ronald Patrick Parker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
