The journey of life for Ronald Demetric King began on November 23, 1966, in Albany, Georgia. He was the beloved son of the late Willie Roy King, Sr. and Ann Nell Peterson King.
He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Monroe Comprehensive High School.
Ronald was an exceptionally talented and perceptive young man who developed a passion for cosmetology and barbering during his early school years. He valued education and took every opportunity to learn and grow at Atlanta Technical College where he received an Associate degree in Cosmetology and Barbering.
At a young age, Ronald accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior; was baptized; and received the right hand of fellowship at Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was a faithful member and joyfully utilized his gift of song in the choir. His greatest desire was that none would be lost and all would get a real relationship with the Lord.
Ronald was a talented vocalist whose singing was intense as he gave his all to the Glory of God while a member of the "Voices of Harmony."
A very creative and talented hair stylist, Ronald firmly believe in working hard for what you want and always being willing to do the right thing. Over the years, he was a highly sought –after master cosmetologist who enjoyed making his clients look and feel their best. He loved his profession and was very passionate about his work.
Loving son, devoted brother, committed uncle, caring cousin, and loyal friend, Ronald embraced life with open arms. He was a very caring individual with a big heart, selfless with his love, and a joy to be around.
His love for family and friends knew no boundaries and he touched their lives in a very special way. He will long be remembered for his generosity and unconditional love.
On July 21, 2021, Ronald peacefully transitioned from this earthly life at his home to eternal life with the Lord. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Gloria Hamilton and Gregory Hamilton.
Precious memories will forever be cherished by his siblings, Willie Roy (Cynthia) King, Jr. and Lucinda Hamilton of Albany, GA, and Kenneth Tyrone Sims of Jacksonville, FL; a devoted niece and nephew, Roynesha King and Chancy Wiggins of Albany, GA; very special and caring friends, Carlos Bernard Cody, Vanessa Pierce, Joyce Cox, and Allison Morman all of Albany, GA; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
