Obituary

Ronica Lynn Raines Clyde was born in Terrell County, Georgia on November 18, 1977.  She was the daughter of the late Bertha Lee Wooden Raines.

She received her formal education in the Lee County and Dougherty County School Systems.

At an early age, she professed her faith in Christ Jesus and united with the united with Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Sasser, Georgia.

Ronica was a very independent person who had an everlasting love for her children.  Those who encountered her, often described her as a caring, hardworking mother who provided unconditionally for her family; who ensured that they were respectable at all times; and who valued time spent with them.  For numerous years, she was employed as a Mechanical and Tractor Operator at Wilson Farms where she worked untiringly until her health declined.  No matter what the assignment, she stayed the course until all tasks were completed.

"Fuzzy," the affectionate name she was referred to by most,  was a free-spirited sister, aunt, niece, goddaughter, cousin, and loyal friend.  She had the unique ability to turn an ordinary day into an adventure, a chore into an activity, and a boring evening into a memory.  Fuzzy noticed the beauty in everything and the good in everyone.  She had a glowing personality that would lift your spirits and brighten your day.

On March 21, 2019, Ronica answered the Master's call to come home.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Sgt. Emmanuel Glenn Raines.

Precious memories will be forever cherished by her children, Nephatoria Clyde, Jalicia Clyde, and Elijah Clyde all of Albany, GA; grandson, Jhaimez Akia Clyde of Albany, GA; brother, Enoch (Carol) Raines of Albany, GA; nieces and nephews, Bryanna Raines, Christopher Raines, Zachery Raines, and Andre B. Clyde all of Albany, GA; godmother, Johnnie M. Stephens of Albany, GA; godsister, Cheryl Stephens of Columbus, GA; two very special friends, Frankie (Lemmon) Motley-Turner of Columbus, GA and Angela Mosley of Albany, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
