IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronnie
Bonner
February 21, 1956 – August 14, 2017
Ronnie V. Bonner, son of the late Elaine B. Moses, was born in Albany, Georgia on February 21, 1956.
He attended the public schools of Dougherty County, including Monroe High School.
At a very early age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with the New Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church. In later years, he united with the Litman Cathedral House of God Saints In Christ under the leadership of Pastor Michael White.
While yet a young man, Ronnie began his brick masonry career working with numerous construction companies in Albany and surrounding counties. His expertise in the industry, workmanship, and professional ethics yielded him the reputation o being "top notch" in his field. Not only did he take pride in his work, but he truly relished the friends that he made throughout his career. Ronnie was not satisfied with idleness; he was also employed with B. J.'s Buffet for several years.
Bo Pete , as he was affectionately called, was profoundly devoted to his family and friends. He loved deeply, laughed often, and lived life to the fullest. When in the company of family and friends, he was always the "life of the crowd." Bo Pete loved telling jokes, and his sense of humor and laughter captured the attention of everyone around him.
On Monday, August 14, 2017, Ronnie departed this earthly life at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and entered into eternal rest. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jessie James Moses.
Fond memories will forever be cherished by his siblings, Brenda Bonner, Linda Bonner, Rose (John) Crosby, Cheryl (Paul) Merritt, and Craig Moses; his sister-in-law, Pearline Moses; one uncle and three aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
