With deepest respect and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Rosa L. Eafford-Forbes, who departed this life on June 6, 2026, at Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital in Fayetteville, Georgia. 

A viewing in Rosa’s honor will be held on June 12, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Martin Luther King Memorial Chapel, 1908 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Albany, Georgia. The funeral service will follow on June 13, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the Doretha H. Payne Chapel at Martin Luther King Memorial Chapel. Afterward, Rosa will be laid to rest in the tranquil grounds of Riverside Cemetery, 200 Cotton Avenue, Albany, Georgia.
