IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sabrina Ann
Stephens
January 6, 1978 – May 17, 2021
Sabrina Ann Brown Stephens was born January 6, 1978, in Albany, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Brown and Lessie Lee Henderson Brown.
She was educated in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Dougherty Comprehensive High School in the class of 1997. Hailing from a family that valued higher education, Sabrina continued her quest for knowledge at Albany Technical Collee where she earned Associate degrees in Culinary Arts and Auto Collision.
At a very young age, Sabrina accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and began a lifetime of Christian stewardship. She was a dedicated member of Harvest Times Ministries where served in various capacities under the leadership and guidance of Pastor Orson Burton, Jr. Over the years, she devoted herself to unparalleled service in the Sister to Sister ministry—always seeking to please God. Her faith and trust in the Lord guided her life and allowed her to be an example for family, friends, and all who encountered her.
On August 17, 2000, Sabrina married the love of her life, her "Nookie," Willie Charles Stephens, Jr. They shared a bond that was unshakeable and an unyielding love and devotion to each other. Their union was blessed with three wonderful children who were taught the importance of living a life of integrity, strong character, and loving kindness. As a wife and mother, she delighted in supporting her family in all of their endeavors. Sabrina had a quiet strength, never complained, and often sacrificed her needs for the good of her family—always looking forward to a better future.
"Brina" as she was endearingly called, was a selfless individual whose heart was filled with kindness, care, compassion, and love. She had an amazing sense of humor, an infectious laugh, a heart-warming smile, and a beautiful personality that captured the attention and hearts of everyone around her. Family and friends were paramount in her life and she always looked forward to events that brought them together in love and harmony. Whether a large family gathering or a simple afternoon taking photos, she continually found the beauty in everything; the good in everyone; and she created many lasting memories.
On May 17, 2021, Sabrina transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest and peace with the Lord. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Jamyrial Stephens (2013); brother, Michael Henderson (2015); nephew, Andrew Moore (2021); and her brother-in-law, Antonio Stephens.
Loving memories will forever remain with her devoted husband of 20 years, Willie Stephens, Jr.; her amazing daughter and son, Ambreia Stephens and Willie Stephens III; four loving sisters, Linda Henderson, Marian (Lester) Beach, Yvonne (Johnny) Williams, and Anita (William) Askew; a very special cousin, Lorraine Clyde; mother-in-law, Bernice Stephens; father-in-law, Willie (Mary) Stephens, Sr.; brothers-in-law, Terrence Stephens, Quincy, Stephens, Bobby Russ, and Desmond Russ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church family whom she loved dearly.
