Obituary

Sean Lovitt, beloved son of Beatrice Wilson-Lovitt and late Larry Lovitt, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 5, 1972.  He was the youngest of six older siblings.

He received his primary and secondary education in the School District of Philadelphia, graduating from George Washington High School in 1989.

Ready to serve his country, Sean enlisted in the United States Army in 1990 and served with distinction  until 1992.  Upon completion of his tour of duty, he was honorably discharged and, thereafter, returned to civilian life.

Sean met  and was totally captivated by  Nekeysha James.  They shared a bond that was strong and they became the proud parents of loving, wonderful sons.   Family was paramount in his life and he gave his all to provide for them unconditionally.   Having developed a deep passion for truck driving, Sean completed the requirements to earn his Commercial Driver's License (CDL).  As a skilled driver for various companies, he always put safety first throughout his career.

Loving son, devoted father, committed companion, caring brother, nurturing uncle,  loyal cousin, and awesome friend, Sean was a very outgoing person who took advantage of every opportunity to spend time with family and friends.  He had an engaging personality, a gigantic heart, and a very welcoming spirit that will long be remembered and cherished.

On March 24, 2022, Sean transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest.  In addition to his father, he was predeceased by two brothers, Tony Lovitt and Larry Lovitt, Jr.
