IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Shebreka Ladaysha
Harp
August 6, 1994 – March 17, 2022
Shebreka Ladaysha Harp, beloved daughter of Melissa Harp-Dale and Derrick B. Anthony, Sr., was born Albany, Georgia on August 6, 1994.
She attended the public schools of Dougherty County and was actively involved in numerous student activities. Shebreka completed her education at Albany Catapult Academy.
Having accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, she united with Majestic Ministries in Tifton, Georgia under the leadership of Apostle LaChandra Sears. Blessed with the gift of song, Shebreka utilized her voice to minister in song with the Praise and Worship Team. She was steadfast in service and gave her all to the Glory of God. One of her favorite songs was " He Wants It All" by Forever Jones.
"Breka" as she was endearingly called, was a beautiful, free-spirited, and extraordinary individual with an everlasting love for her children—Kehlani and Wontavious. Being a mother was one of the greatest joys of her life and she never faltered in her duties and responsibilities. For numerous years, she was employed in customer service at various businesses in the Albany area. While her work with each of these companies proved to be rewarding, she had a burning desire to pursue a career in the hair care industry which was her true passion. At the time of her demise, she was in the process of making her life-long dream of salon ownership, "Braids By Breka," a reality.
Shebreka was deeply caring, compassionate, and always looked forward to events with family and friends that brought them together in love and harmony. Whether a large family gathering or a simple afternoon taking photos, she continually found the beauty in everything; the good in everyone; and created many lasting memories. She was an altruistic daughter and mother, a loving sister and aunt, a caring cousin, and a loyal friend whose enthusiasm an 2, Shebreka transitioned from this earthly life to eternal peace and rest. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Patricia Ann Kennedy; and an uncle, Alexander Mathis.
Loving memories will forever remain in the hearts of her children, Kehlani Harp and Wontavious Porter, Jr.; her parents Melissa Harp-Dale (Travis) and Derrick B. Anthony, Sr.; siblings, Keyonna Hunt, Dremoski Hunt, Santoya Breedlove, Devonte Harp, and Derrick B. Anthony, Jr.,; grandmother, Annie Gregoir; aunts and uncles, Tammie Hall Brown, Iris Hall, Shayla Mathis, Thomas Hall, Corey Mathis, Field Williams, and Kelvin Mathis; two very special friends, Anaisia Stephens and Jasmine Warren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
