Stacy Bernard Zackery was born in Albany, Georgia on July 27, 1970.  He was the son of Barbara Keith and William H. Zackery.

He attended the public schools of Dougherty County, graduating from Dougherty Comprehensive High School in 1988.  Stacy was proud to be a "Trojan" and remained committed to his alma mater through participation in alumni reunions and attending various sporting events.  In later years, Stacy years, Stacy continued his education at Albany Technical College in the area of technology.

At a very young age, Stacy accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.  Having been blessed with the gifted with a harmonious voice early in life, Stacy's love for singing escalated during his seasoned years.  Regularly, he blended his voice with various church choirs throughout Dougherty County as they sang to the Glory of God.

Stacy was a very conscientious, persistent individual whose 15-year professional career as a technical support assistant with CallTech was most rewarding.   He was a "helper" and worked diligently to solve problems no matter how challenging.  In addition to his full-time employment, Stacy also worked part-time at Jackson Hewitt.  Throughout his work life, he was totally committed to providing the best customer care possible.

A jovial, mild-mannered man, Stacy loved his family and circle of friends dearly.  He was a loving and dependable son to his parents, a caring and reliable brother to his siblings, and an extraordinary   father to his children and grandchildren.  He was happiest at family gatherings—sharing meals, memories, and laughs, being with his friends, and lending a helping hand.  He will be deeply missed.

On May 12, 2023, Stacy departed this earthly life.  Although his  departure leaves a void, his spirit will live on in those left behind.

Fond memories will forever be cherished by his parents, Barbara (Willie F.) Keith and William H. (Pamela) Zackery; his children, Staci Zackery, Jamil Zackery, and Ja'Vaughn Zackery; grandchildren, Jaiden and Kahriea; siblings, Dexter Zackery, Kalynn (Connie)Zackery, Adrian Zackery, Terron Hayes, Tina (Bryan) Shead, Stephaney (Eric) Sibley,  Congia Wright, and Shelton Keith; a very special friend and mother of his children, Katina Pate; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
