IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Standis Marquis
May
July 12, 1979 – September 29, 2017
Standis May, son of Michael Mosley and the late Evelyn M. Mosley, was born in Albany, Georgia on July 12, 1979.
He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System and graduated from Albany High School.
"Big Man" as he was so affectionately called, was an extremely lovable individual who captured the hearts of those around him. He had a gigantic smile and engaging personality that would light up a room and remind us that we should savor the sweet and beautiful moments that we have every day. Standis loved without conditions, taught us about kindness and patience, and prompted us to be grateful for what we have. He was dearly loved and enjoyed being in the company of family and friends. His life was a shining example of courage and strength; and he left a "chapter book" of stories and memories that will be remembered through the years.
On Monday, September 29, 2017, Big Man's earthly journey ended as he quietly entered into eternal rest. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shuender Davis.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by his father, Michael Mosley; beloved grandmother, Ethel May; siblings, Nicole Mosley, Michael Mosley, Jr., and Martavis Simmons; nieces and nephews, Tianna May, Ja'Nayh Mosley, Quincy Davis, Jr., Kameron Banks, Kingston Taylor, and Kemarion Davis; a devoted aunt, Annie Burks; and a host of uncles, cousins, and friends.
