Stephanie Denise Butler Jordan, beloved daughter of Rosemary Butler Cornelious and the late Albert Gene Maye, Jr., was born in Albany, Georgia on June 28, 1974.

She was educated in the Lee County School System and actively participated in various students organizations and activities.

At an early age, Stephanie accepted Christ as her personal Savior, was baptized, and became an active member of McAfee Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  She served faithfully in numerous capacities and gave of herself freely wherever needed.  Her faith in God made her resilient and enabled her to live a life full of meaning and purpose.

Stephanie was a loving mother who looked well to the ways of her household and ate not the bread of idleness.  For more than 20 years, she labored untiringly as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).  Throughout her career, she was very conscientious in serving her patients with dignity, respect, and true compassion.  She had a natural gift for serving and making a difference in the lives of many people.

A very loving and caring individual, Stephanie had a sweet, quiet spirit and was always willing to help in any situation.  Family and friends were paramount in her life and she never hesitated to extend her warmth, care, and kindness to them.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

On Thursday, November 4, 2021, Stephanie answered the Master's call to eternal peace and rest.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lundy Metz, Sr., Irene Lockett Butler, Ethel Ree Maye, and Albert Maye, Sr.; and four siblings, Albert Q. Butler, Antwan Butler, Corey K. Butler, and Tearquester T. Threadcraft.

Cherished memories will forever remain with her loving mother, Rosemary Butler Cornelious of Leesburg, GA; her children, Gregory (Ashley) Daniels of Clearwater, FL, and Jastacia Butler, Kiana Butler, and Lorenzo Jordan, Jr. all of Albany, GA; grandchildren, Carmelo Baltimore, Bryson Baltimore, Kailee Butler, Ava Baltimore, Blayke Sanders, LaRyiah Mitchell, Triniti Hodges, Essence Butler, and a highly anticipated special bundle of joy all of Albany, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
