IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Stephen
Mobley
October 30, 1965 – December 28, 2023
Stephen James Mobley Jr., b.k.a. "Steve", was born in Albany, Georgia on October 30, 1965. He was the beloved son of the late Stephen James Mobley, Sr. and Lena Mae Harris Mobley.
He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System and graduated from Westover High School in the class of 1984. While at Westover High School, he participated in various school organizations, activities and sporting events. He especially loved football. Following high school, Steve traded his football cleats for Army boots.
At a very early age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a member of Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church.
On September 7, 2013, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Angela K. Jackson. They shared a love that was Godly, strong, and inseparable while honoring their vows to honor and cherish each other. As a husband and father, Steve ensured that he carried out his father's last wishes to take care of his family to the best of his ability. He was a family man and he loved his family. He was a very smart, conscientious and hard working individual who gave his very best at whatever he did. He was not afraid of hard work and was a loyal self-motivated business owner until he died.
Steve was a private family man; but, also a charitable giver who you could depend on and he was always ready to lend a helping hand. His engaging personality, gigantic heart, and great sense of humor captivated people around him in a very special way. The strong bonds of friendship that he developed throughout his life will long be remembered and held dear by those who knew and loved him dearly.
On December 28, 2023, Steve quietly transitioned to eternal rest at his home.
Cherished memories will forever remain with his devoted wife, Angela Mobley; his loving mother: Lena Mobley; daughters: Nedrew (George) Mason, Shannon (Anthony) Evans and Tanika Taft; stepdaughter by marriage: Lacole Favors; brothers: Cedrick (Shenika) Mobley, Frank Norman Mobley, Carlos (Meitoy) Mobley and Willie Nix; mother-in-law: Annie West; brothers-in-law: David (Tunecia) Jackson and Pastor, Rev.
