Tavis Griffin was born to Priscilla Griffin and Tavis Styles on March 25, 1995. He spent his developmental years in Albany, GA.

Tavis loved fishing, football, and his devotion to his family. Known by various names such as Tayzo, Shane, Tay, Butterbean, and Country Boy, he was a humble, patient individual with a smile that stole many hearts. He was the kind of person that made your day a little brighter and your smile a little bolder. He was an exceptional father and a giving individual always ready to assist those in need.

Tavis Demond Griffin transitioned from his earthly dwelling on July 17, 2024 at 29 years old. The sudden loss of Tavis has left his loved ones in deep sorrow.  Tavis was preceded in death by his stepdad, Arthur Williams, his aunt, Ruby Winchester, and cousins, Jahtay Winchester, Quamyia Jones, and Alonzo Jones, Jr.
Unforgettable memories will forever remain with us  and be missed by his children, Tavis D. Griffin, Jr. and Taylyn D. Griffin, along with their mother, Santana Hall; his mother, Priscilla Griffin; father, Tavis Styles; stepmother, Monique Styles; sisters, Patricia Davis (Quavan Davis) and Keaundria Griffin; brothers, Octavis Styles and Quintavis Styles; bonus sisters, Sykwanna Chapman and Shycovie Chapman; grandparents, Betty Harper, Garry Dublin and Norine Dublin, and Charles "CJ" Porter; nieces, Zariyah, Khalia and nephew Zavion; his four favorites, Robert (Jun Jun), Kiara, Deatrice (Nasha), and Denzel; his riders, Quentin Sapp, Quadrick Jones, and Tyrell Stephens. He also leaves behind a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and all those fortunate enough to have known him.
Tavis is gone but never forgotten.
