IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tehran Lamarr
Singleton
July 30, 1979 – September 17, 2017
Tehran Lamarr Singleton, son of Curtis Green and Mary Ann Singleton Anderson, was born in Albany, Georgia on July 30, 1979.
He attended the public schools of Dougherty County, including Monroe Comprehensive High School. His musical talent was put to task at Monroe as a member of the school's chorus. He graduated in the Class of 1999.
After high school, Tehran began working in an area that he was very passionate about—food service. For numerous years, he was employed by IHOP, Cracker Barrel, and the Marriott Courtyard. Tehran was a persistent, hardworking, and dedicated employee who held fast to his belief that work is honorable. He labored untiringly and took great pride in a 'job well done."
Loving son and grandson, caring brother, committed nephew, and loyal friend, Tehran embraced opportunities and the chance to experience life with open arms. Throughout his life, he continued to refine his musical talents and grew into the unique person that we all knew and loved. He could hit the lowest lows with his Bass/Baritone voice, and it brought him much joy to sing and hear his voice blend with others.
On Sunday, September 17, 2017, he departed this earthly life and transitioned to sing in God's heavenly choir.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by his beloved parents, Curtis Green and Mary Ann Singleton Anderson; two loving sisters, Caprisha (Tommy) Anderson and Lindsey Leary of Camilla, GA; his devoted grandmothers, Cora Singleton of Camilla, GA and Pearlie Green of Albany, GA; aunts, Sherry (Jewon) Wright, Sandra (James) Tinson, Linda (Anthony) Branch, and Unellia Green all of Albany, GA; uncles, Johnny Green, Eddie Green, and Albert Green of Albany, GA; great aunts and uncles; a host of cousins, other family, and friends; and his extended family, the Berrenger's and Kappa Gamma.
