Terance Bernard McClendon began his earthly journey on May 24, 1972, in Albany, Georgia.  He was one of twelve children born to the union of the late Lawrence Benjamin McClendon and Iola Nichols McClendon.

He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Albany High School.  Throughout school, Terance garnered much from his educational experiences while actively participating in numerous student organizations and activities.

Early in life, Terance accepted Christ as his personal Savior.  He dearly loved the Lord and remained humble throughout life's journey.

Terance was a very independent, conscientious individual who had an everlasting love for his children.  Those who encountered him often described him as a caring, hardworking father who provided unconditionally for his family.  His employment record at Chili's Grill & Bar was defined by hard work, high expectations, and unquestionable integrity. He was a loyal, dedicated employee who was punctual; always prepared for work; jovial but sincere; and worked tirelessly to ensure that no task was ever left undone.

Devoted father, committed brother, one-of-a-kind uncle, awesome nephew, caring cousin, and loyal friend, Terance cherished every moment of his life and greeted each day with a smile.  His love for family was infinite; he always found the good in people; and he stood ready to lend a helping hand—never asking anything in return.  He will long be remembered as a good-hearted individual whose spirit of sunshine, humor, and laughter touched the hearts of many people.

On April 27, 2025, Terance transitioned from this earthly journey to  eternal rest.  Although his earthly departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, his caring spirit will always be remembered.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his children, Terance McClendon, Jr., Ernest Codgill, Quashawn Sapp, Rantavious Harris, Jaleigh McClendon, Ace McClendon, and Braylen Holloway; his sibilings, Bobby (Linda) McClendon, Cynthia (Jeremiah) McClendon, Velma (Tommy) Bell, Debra (Allen) Jones, Pamela (Thomas) Pace, Norris (Sophia) McClendon, Katrina (Nathan) McClendon, Keith (Tracey) White, Kelvin White, and Takyra Reed; a special aunt, Ruby Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
