Obituary

Thomas Lee Isaac was born December 23. 1935, in City Point, Florida.   He was the beloved son of the late Walter and Jesse Taylor Isaac.

During the early years of his life, he received his formal education in the Brevard County, Florida School System and was active in numerous school activities and functions.

After relocating to Rochester, New York, he met and married Louise Gullatte who preceded him in death.  Their union was blessed with four children—Linda, Harold, Karold, and Brenda. In 1979, they moved to Alabama, then to Albany, GA, in 1980 where he worked as a laborer and landscaper until his retirement in 2010.

Thomas was a quiet, selfless, hard-working individual who would give his last to help someone in need.  His exceptional work ethics and impeccable landscaping skills earned him an unparalleled reputation in his field which provided a growing clientele, mainly through word of mouth.

On Saturday, July 27, 2019, Thomas departed this earthly life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Thomas Lee Gaynor; brothers, Fred, Henry and Ivory; and sisters, Helen, Alice, Jessie and Maggie.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice Denson Isaac; two daughters, Linda Isaac and Brenda Lee Isaac both of Columbia, SC; two sons, Harold Isaac of Columbus, GA and Karold Isaac of Wetumpka, Alabama; one grandchild, Brandon James Isaac, Columbia, SC; one sister Ida Mae Burke , of Cocoa, FL; one brother, Ben Isaac (Lillie Mae); one step-daughter, Betty Denson of Chamblee, GA; one step-son, Herbert Denson (Deborah) of Marietta, GA; two great grandchildren, Kingston Morris-Isaac and Jaxon Robinson-Isaac; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
