Tony Lee Williams, beloved son of Barbara J. Williams and the late John H. Henderson, was born on October 9, 1970, in Albany, Georgia .

He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Albany High School in 1989.  Very early in life, he accepted Christ  as his Lord and Savior.

Throughout life, Tony was a very inquisitive individual.  As a young boy, he enjoyed tinkering with tools and was thoroughly convinced that he could make his toy car run like a real car.  Although that venture was not successful, it motivated him to learn the skills necessary to become a mechanic.   Over the years, he found joy and solace in his life-long passion while laboring tirelessly at various repair shops in the Albany area.  No matter what the task, he took great pride in his work and his largely "self-taught" mechanical skills.

Lovingly known as "Shimmydo" by family and friends, Tony was a caring son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who lived life to the fullest as he marched to the beat of his own drum.  He laughed often, felt unbridled happiness, and truly  enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Oftentimes, he could be found outside enjoying nature or on a boat doing what he     enjoyed most—fishing.

On September 25, 2022, Tony quietly departed this earthly life at his residence surround by family.  He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of his life.

Although absent from the body, he will forever be present in the heart of his devoted mother, Barbara J. Williams; his children, Ciambrika Gillan, Darius Jackson, Davorius Jackson, Telissa   Jackson, Datravious Jackson, and Drake Jackson; siblings, Edward (Sharon) Williams, Chanene Bankston, Sabrina Williams, Sarina Williams, Randy (Wanda) King, Teresa (Darryl) Johnson, Felicia (Ronald) Paul, and Robert King; six grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
