Tynika Lawanna Greene was born on July 1, 1978, in Albany, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of Maxine Ball and the late George Forest .
During the early years of her life, she attended the public schools of Dougherty County and participated in various school activities. As a youth, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.
She was united holy matrimony to Terry Greene on August 29, 2001. They shared a love and a devotion to one another that was unshakeable.
Their union was blessed with three children who were taught to be respectful, humble, and to love each other. She was blessed not only with children, but also a grandson who was a source of joy and pride in her life. As a wife and mother, Tynika was constant in her efforts to care for the needs of her family.
She was employed with Emory Healthcare System in Atlanta, Georgia for numerous years and worked untiringly to ensure that no task was ever left undone.
Devoted wife, loving mother, endearing daughter, caring sister, nurturing aunt, reliable cousin, and compassionate friend, Tynika was a good natured and generous individual with a big heart, and a pleasure to be around. She believed deeply in unconditional love, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and delighted in helping and caring for others.
Tynika had a spirit of sunshine, humor, and laughter that could be felt by everyone around her. Her friendliness and kindness to all people and her devotion and love for her family and friends are lasting tributes to the beauty of her heart and soul.
On August 5, 2021, Tynika peacefully departed this earthly life at Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Georgia. Her presence will deeply be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Tynika 's beautiful life will forever be cherished by her beloved husband, Terry Greene of Buford, GA; her children, Martiana Potts of Stockbridge, GA, and LaTeria Greene and Terry Greene, Jr. of Buford, GA; one grandson, Preston Gabriel Howard of Stockbridge, GA; her loving mother and stepfather, Maxine Ray Ball and Grady Ball; siblings, Jessie J. Ray of Decatur, Ga, Deonta Forest and Roshika Forest of Albany, GA, and Daphne Ray-Leverett of McDonough, GA; sister-in-law, Lawanda Greene of Albany, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
