Undra Michael Chambers was born in Phenix City, Alabama on July 1, 1964. He was the son of the late Albert Chambers, Sr. and Carrie King.
He received his formal education in the Russell County School System where he actively participated in various school organizations and functions.
He was united in holy matrimony Debbie Ingram. Their union stood the test of time and endured for 32 years. As a husband and father, Undra was diligent in caring for the needs of his family through his employment as a contractor. He never backed down from hard work and he never let any obstacle get in his way. When on the job, he refused to take short cuts and would not leave until the work was done right.
Undra was passionate about his family, about his work, and about his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, helping others, and being the "go to" person to get things done. His gigantic smile and one-of-a-kind personality attracted a wide circle of people who were the recipients of a long and lasting friendship. His love of family and their love for him will forever be treasured.
On April 20, 2018, Undra's earthly journey ended and he transitioned to eternal rest. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, James C. Chambers.
He leaves to cherish his memories a very loving and devoted wife, Debbie Ingram Chambers; one daughter, Andresia Chambers; a stepdaughter, Tameka Ingram of Morrow, GA; five siblings, Albert (Brenda) Chambers of Phenix City, AL, Emmett Chambers of St. Petersburg, FL, Freddie Chambers and Carolyn Brookins of Columbus, GA, and Heintie King of Louisville, KY; his mother-in-law, Doris Ingram; four brothers-in-law, Cedric Ingram, Michael Ingram, Rufus (Kimberly) Ingram, and Melvin (Juanita) Ingram all of Albany, GA; three sisters-in-law, Gloria (Rick) Pullman of Riverdale, GA, Bertha Thomas of Albany, GA, and Cathy (Chris) Ingram of Ellenwood, GA; three stepbrothers, Albert King, Preston King, and Rickey King of Columbus, GA; two stepsisters, Martha Kirk of Atlanta, GA and Isabell Clemons of Columbus, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
