Our beloved Vickie Vanessa Powell was born March 27, 1966 in Albany Ga, to the late George Arthur Powell Sr and Ernestine Powell. She departed this earthly home on May 3, 2024.

Vickie received her education in the Dougherty County School System, she graduated from Albany High School in 1984. She later furthered her education by attending Albany Technical College in the Nursing Program where she graduated as a RN (Registered Nurse). She was a
jack of many trades aside from nursing she also worked at Proctor and Gamble and lastly because of her health she had to retire early from her love of truck driving.

Vickie was known as the loving and caring person who would be there for her loved ones at any cost, she was the life of any party. There was never a dull moment when you were around her and she will be truly missed

She was a member of the New Life Ministry in Tifton Ga.

Vickie was preceded in death by both parents and three siblings George Arthur Powell Jr, Shelly Noel, and Crystal Clark.

She leaves to cherish her memories three children, sons Trey Powell (EdQuanda), Jashaun Rushing (Brittany), and daughter Jacqueline Franklin (Tramoski), all of Albany Ga. Three sisters Linda Rogers (Johnny), Jan Slade (Bobby) both of Tifton Ga, Cosha Clark and brother Clarence Powell (Monique) both of Atlanta Ga., Eleven grandchildren, Kamillyah, Sha'Neriya, Alyssia, Travoriya and Cheyenne (Powell) , Jayden, Jordan and Jada (Rushing), Travious Price, Kiara Davenport, Dexter Minter, and some near and dear friends Debra Mosley, Audrey Teemer, and Michael Barnes.
