IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Waymon Lamar
Jackson
February 26, 1956 – April 2, 2022
Wayman Lamar Jackson, son of Willie James Jackson and the late Annette Hall, was born in Albany, Georgia on February 26, 1956.
He received his early childhood and secondary education in the public schools of Dougherty County, including River Road Elementary, Carver Junior High, and Westover High School. Throughout school, he was active in various student activities and events.
At a young age, Wayman accepted Christ as his personal Savior and united with the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend J. H. Reynolds. He dearly loved the Lord and remained humble throughout life's journey
Wayman was a very conscientious, persistent individual who took pride in the services that he provided in lawn care maintenance and as a cab driver. His ability to form meaningful relationships with his clients, neighbors, and strangers was a life skill that served him well during his career.
A genuinely good-hearted man, Wayman gained much from his life experiences. He had a great sense of humor and a mischievous smile that always made you wonder what he was thinking. His love for family and friends was infinite and he cherished each moment spent with them. He was a loving son, a caring brother, a cherished uncle, an unforgettable cousin, and a loyal friend who touched people in a very special way. Wayman gave of himself freely and never asked anything in return. He will be deeply missed by family and friends who loved him dearly.
On April 2, 2022, Wayman was freed from the cares of this earthly life and he entered into eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annette Hall; grandmother, Rosa Lee Nelson; brother, Jamie Jackson; and his niece, Sabrina Jackson.
Cherished memories will forever remain with his fathers, Willie James Jackson and James (Leah) Hall; siblings, Delene Holloway, Myra Jackson, Stephanie (Ronald) Hunt, Tameka Hall, Marvin Jackson, Gary Jackson, and Travis Holloway; a special friend, Latricia "Nikk" Jordan; and a host of nieces, nephew s, cousin, extended family, and friends.
