IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Willie Carolyn
Bell Arline
January 13, 1945 – September 28, 2019
The season of life for Willie Carolyn Bell Arline began on January 13, 1945, in Camilla, Georgia. She was born the beloved daughter of the late Cora Mae Bell.
During the early years of her life, she attended the public schools of Mitchell County and was active in numerous school organizations and activities.
Willie Carolyn had the great advantage of growing up in a home in which the Lord was revered and worshipped. At a very early age, she professed her faith and belief in Christ and united with the Antioch Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia under the leadership of Revered P. Sparks. After relocating to Albany, Georgia, she united with the Antioch Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend George Daniels. Through the years, she served faithfully as a member of the Pastor's Aide ministry which she reorganized, and president of the Mission Board. She was strong in faith, in character, in wisdom; and she stood boldly for the cause of Christ. She also served as Assistant Matron of the Martha Chapter #26 Order of Eastern Stars.
In 1968, she was united in holy matrimony to Jimmy Lee Ball who preceded her in death. As a wife and mother, Willie Carolyn was constant in her efforts to care for the needs of her family. For many years, she was a loyal and dedicated employee of Albany Mental Health and the Dougherty County School System from which she retired after having experienced a very rewarding career.
A joy to be around, Willie was a very genuine, kind-hearted, simplistic person who embraced life's experiences with open arms. She never met a stranger, could converse with anyone who came into her life, and felt most content when serving others. She was truly dedicated to her family and never missed an opportunity to bond and spend quality time with them. She freely opened her heart and home to family and friends. Her unwavering spirit, generosity, and unconditional love will forever be remembered.
On September 28, 2019, her earthly season ended as she was called home from labor to reward. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Curtis Allen and Earnestine Horton.
Left to mourn her passing and cherish fond memories are her loving children, Ronnie S. Bell of Niagra Falls, NY and Jacquelyn A. Arline of Albany, GA; brother, Kenneth Allen of Jacksonville, NC; grandchildren, Kenyortta Arline of Camilla, GA, Nicholas Arline and Kemona (Presella) Arline of Albany, GA, Ayasha Arline of August, GA, Shavoker H. (LaKeith) Lawrence of Jacksonville, FL, Teddrick Parks of Albany, GA, and Jessick Kingcade of Niagra Falls, NY; thirteen great grandchildren; a loving friend/sister, Mary Quarterman and a caring friend/daughter, Jackie Reed both of Albany, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
