Willie Lee Cullen, Jr. was born in Leary, Georgia on July 25, 1955, to the late Willie C. Cullen, Sr. and Willie Mae Palmer Cullen.
He attended the public schools of Calhoun County, graduating from Calhoun County High School in 1973. Throughout school, Willie was an energetic, strong-willed young man who was always ready for adventure and actively participated in various student activities and events.
Early in life, Willie accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Eureka Baptist Church and remained prayerful throughout life's journey.
Willie was blessed with exceptional talents and skills which he utilized diligently during his employment with various companies in Albany. After relocating to Florida where he resided until his demise, he continued using his skills as he poured himself into countless hours of diverse work experiences. He was a dedicated worker who gave his BEST at all times.
"Son" as he was affectionately called, led a very active life filled with laughter and vibrant conversations. He truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and considered no one a stranger. If you were loved by him, you were loved forever. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of his life.
On May 3, 2022, Willie transitioned to eternal rest. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandmothers, Mary Johnson and Annie Hutto; his sister, Mary Cullen; and two nephews, Dorsey Walker, Jr. and Ran Derek Cullen.
He leaves fond memories that will forever be cherished by his siblings, Annie, Beverly, Sheila, Jacqueline (Rick), William (Rudella) and Rufus; aunts and uncles, Eva (Jim), Dorothy (Johnny), Willie (Ora), and William; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
