Willie James Stewart was born in Dawson, Georgia on November 26, 1958, to Alice Warren.

He attended the public schools of Dougherty County where he participated in numerous school activities. He received his High School Diploma from Monroe Comprehensive High School in 1979.

Willie was a devoted son, father, brother, grandfather, nephew, and friend who was attentive to the needs of his family. For years, he worked at Grey Distribution and his own business Mr. Fix-It Handyman Service.

Willie was humble, loving, kind, generous, and stern. If you needed someone to talk to, he had a listening ear. If you needed a shoulder to cry on, he was there to wipe away the tears. If you needed something built or fixed, he was your man.

On Thursday, December 29, 2022, he was quietly called from this earthly life to his eternal home. He was  proceeded in death by sister Elizabeth Rooks, brother Michael Stewart, and grandson Malik Carter.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories six children, Xavier Stewart, Nicole (Shawn) Conley, Tameka Bridges, Willie Perry, Jermaine Perry, and William Perry; grandchildren, Zy'Kerria Stewart, Xavier Stewart Jr, Kiara Stewart, Roderic Harris, Jaylen Stewart, Camorra Bailey, Robert Long, Ariyunna Lane, Jamari Perry, Jasmin Perry, La'niya Perry, and Michelle Carter; Two greatgrandchildren Trysten Jest and Kaistyn Campbell; 6 brothers, Charles Stewart, Tommy (Betty) Stewart, Don Stewart, Earl (Belinda) Stewart, Jerome Stewart, Greg Warren; 3 sisters Barbara Stewart, Alice Warren, and Dollie Warren; Extended family Phil and Susan Greene; ; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
