Y'Kedria Lowe Grier was born in Albany, Georgia on June 3, 2003, to Coretta Grier and Michael Grier, Jr.

She was educated in the Dougherty County School System and participated in various school functions and activities.

"Kedria" as she was called by family and friends, was an energetic free-spirited individual with a sense of humor that anyone could grow to love.  The simplest things brought great joy to her and she loved to joke, laugh, and yell.  Kedria enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always the life of the party.  She was a curious and adventurous young lady whose enthusiasm and exuberance were contagious—she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

On April 17, 2021, Y'Kedria's 17-year journey ended and she transitioned to eternal rest.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Michael Grier, Sr. and Brenda Staffin; and two sisters, Nikerria and Tikeria Grier.

Cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of her parents, Coretta Grier of Albany, GA and Michael Grier, Jr. of Dawson, GA; her loving great grandmother, Irene Brown of Albany, GA; eight siblings, Ayashia Hampton, Sherdria Lowe, Cyntessia Lowe, Wydetra Grier, J'Mia Grier, Mikerria Grier, Demoquis Moore, and Hakeen Lunsford; aunts and uncles, Toya Grier of Brownwood, GA, Vontressa Lowe and Barbara Thomas both of Albany, GA, Derrick Grier of Brownwood, GA, and Martinez Lowe of Albany, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
