Yvonne Williams Malone was born June 5, 1938, in Newton, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of the late Emma and Leroy Williams.
Growing up in Newton, she received her formal education in the public schools of Baker County and was active in numerous organizations, activities, and events.
At a very early age, she accepted Christ as her Savior and united with Thankful Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful member who willingly served wherever needed. Her love for God was demonstrated in her constant, unconditional love for all mankind.
Yvonne was united in marriage to Mack Blue Malone. They shared a love that endured through the years and a devotion to one another that was strong and unshakeable. She was a committed wife and mother who devoted her life to caring for the needs of her family. For numerous years, she was a dedicated employee of Phoebe Putney Hospital.
Always gentle and kind, Yvonne was a generous lady who was a joy to be around. She was a selfless person who saw the beauty in all things, accepted everyone for who they were, and openly welcomed them into her heart and home. She was considered by many as a wise and trusted counsel, a difference maker, and an unforgettable friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her dearly.
On May 7, 2020, God called his faithful servant home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Mack Malone; her beloved son, David Williams; and nine siblings, Bernice Clemons, Lue Ellen Thomas, Lesie MacDougals, Addie Lee Taylor, Mary Lee Williams, Jerome Williams, John L. Blossom, Frank Williams, and Clarence Williams.
Loving memories will be cherished by her siblings, Johnny Mae Davis, Inell (Eddie L.) Jackson, Wallace (Joyce) Williams, and Leroy (Alfreda) Williams, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
